https://cmprlaw.comSarah is an Associate in CMPR’s Employment practice group. She primarily represents private clients in matters involving various employment issues including wage and hour, discrimination, reasonable accommodation, leaves of absence, and implementing state and federal regulations.
Sarah began her legal career representing public entities in labor and employment matters and all aspects of the collective bargaining process. Sarah assisted public entities in resolving grievances, litigating unfair labor practice charges before the Public Employment Relations Board (PERB), and handling personnel matters, including employee discipline and termination.
In 2020, Sarah moved from public law to represent private clients in primarily employment matters including wage and hour, discrimination, reasonable accommodation, leaves of absence, and implementing state and federal regulations. She assists clients in analyzing the legal risks associated with hiring, disciplining and firing, and represents her clients’ interests in both administrative proceedings and litigation.
Sarah has extensive experience assisting both public and private employers in complying with changes in the laws and has provided many workshops and trainings on topics such as preventing sexual harassment and unlawful discrimination, collective bargaining procedures, and Public Records Act compliance.
Sarah is a Sonoma County native. After studying on the East Coast and in the Midwest, she made her way back home where she enjoys exploring this beautiful area with her husband and two sons.
