    Suzy Taherian has over 25 years of experience as CFO, COO, acting CEO, and board member for global companies. After 16 years with Exxon and Chevron, she went on to lead high growth companies. She was most recently CFO of Xpansiv, which provides the global market infrastructure for energy transition.

    She led their finance team through an incredible year. They completed $400M in private equity financing with Blackstone, and then another $140M with Goldman Sachs and Bank of America and others. They also completed 2 major acquisitions to position Xpansiv in a strong leadership position in environmental markets. Xpansiv was recognized as one of the top acquirers in climatetech. They delivered strong top line growth and increased profitability, growing from 65 employees to over 350. Xpansiv also completed a secondary financing round of $75M in Dec 2022.

    She also served on the board of NewHold Investment Corporation, a Special Purpose Acquisition Company. She was part of the board audit committee, overseeing their IPO on NASDAQ on July 31, 2020 and their subsequent purchase of Evolv.

    She has been an adjunct professor at UC Davis Graduate School of Management for the last 10 years, teaching courses on International Finance and International Business.

    She was recognized as Top 100 Women of Influence by Silicon Valley Business Journal. She’s a contributor to Forbes.com, co-author of 80/20 CFO, and speaker at How Women Lead.

    Suzy holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from UC Davis; an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University.
