Join Naturally North Bay for our QA + Operations Forum: Wastewater Management in Food Production Facilities on Tuesday, May 9th. This presentation will provide an overview of process wastewater production, treatment, and disposal in a food production facility. Julian Kayne​, from Summit Engineering​, will discuss technical details such as loading rates, treatment methods, wastewater constituents, wastewater economics, and other information that will serve as a knowledge base for dealing with regulators and equipment vendors.

    Julian has over 15 years of experience as a civil and environmental engineer. His engineering experience includes various design, project and construction management services for water and wastewater treatment facilities in both the public and private sectors, including food processing waste and industrial storm water compliance.

    Prior to his engineering career, Julian worked in the organic farming sector which included a role as the first quality assurance manager at Straus Family Creamery.
